I did a search and found many post where people could not find a dough hook for the Rival mixer purchased through Walmart because they didn’t order the accessories.
Sunbeam is an economical choice if you want to return the Rival back to the store. Sunbeam sells dough hooks.
[mage lang="en|fr|es|en" source="flickr"]Blodgett Pizza[/mage] Is it possible to hook up a steam generator to a pizza deck oven, Blodgett in particular?
There is a used Blodgett pizza deck oven for sale in my area. I have been looking for a professional oven to bake artisan bread. This deck oven does not have any sort of steam injection system, which I require. Does anyone have any info. on whether it is possible to attach an independent steam generator to this type of deck oven? Does anyone have any experience with doing so, or with particular brands?
A deck oven, I am assuming a Pizza oven. They are not made to have huimidity as part of the cooking process.
You can contact Blodgett on their website or Garland Equipment and ask them
Conveyor Oven, Triple Deck 32 in W x 40 in L, 208V
Ingredients:
4½ cups of bread flour.
1½ cup water.
2 teaspoons active dry yeast.
3 tablespoons powdered milk.
1 teaspoon salt.
1 tablespoon sugar.
2 tablespoons vegetable oil.
(this is suppose to be the ingredients for one 14″ pan pizza)
Questions:
1. How much of the ingredients do I need to make a large batch of dough(my mixer is 40qt total)?
2. Tips on how to mix?
3. I have a commercial grade conveyor gas pizza oven, how long and what temp do I need to use to cook 1 pizza at a time?
If you can’t answer them all at least answer 1. Thanks!!
After trying several different doughs…I settled on a very basic lean dough…for 1or 2 pizza it calls for
1 cup warm water
1 T sugar
1 T yeast
11/2 t salt
2 cups flour(with more to be added while kneading)
double or triple as needed.
In a large bowl dissolve sugar in water…add yeast and let rest for 5 minutes..to insure the yeast is still active, there should be a foamy film atop the water…
combine salt with flour.then add to yeast mixture 1/2 cup at a time..blend well, pour onto well floured surface and knead for at least 10 minutes. If the dough should begin to pull back as your kneading…let the dough rest for 5 minutes and knead again until the dough forms a smooth ball that can be handled without flour.place 1 T oil in bowl.add dough ball turn to coat, cover with tea towel and let rest in warm place for 1 hour..it should double in bulk…punch down knead 2 or 3 times then let rest for 5 mins before rolling out…again ,if your dough begins to pull back while rolling out let rest for 5 mins.this will let the dough relax .
bake at a high heat 450…check at 5 minutes

Looking for a recipe that has cherries between two cookie dough circles and then baked.?
I used to help a lady cook these cookies as a child and have been looking for them with no success. You place three cherries from pie-filling in center of cookie dough cut into a circle. Take another circle piece and place on top, pressing in sides and making a “pie” like cookie. You then bake it and it is Oh, so good! Any help with finding this recipe would be greatly appreciated!!!
I looked on recipegoldmine.com
They have thousands of recipes.
I did find this basic cookie dough pie crust. Here’s what it said. Then you could just add the cherries.
Cookie Pie Crust
This crust is made form a dough very similar to cookie dough. If makes a nice, firm base for a pie — also, no one expects it to be “flaky”, and it doesn’t need to be rolled.
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup flour
Beat the sugar and butter together until well creamed. Add first the vanilla, then the flour. Place in a pie pan and press into the sides and bottom, using your fingers. You can add you own touches–a little grated orange peel, a touch of nutmeg–whatever sounds good and would complement the pie’s filling.
Have you ever tried buying just roll of regular refrigerated sugar cookie dough and tossing some cherries on it.
Sugar cookie dough is rather bland if you dont put sugar on the top. In this case, the cherries would give it the sweetness
Record Restoration and the bridge of understanding the facts about strippers and cleaning products and the effect on the final
Hydroxide sodium percarbonate and sodium hypochlorite are three main cleaning agents used in the bridge and restore registry home. Each chemical has its place in the cleaning process, however, know how and when each is often misunderstood.
Hydroxide sodium, the strongest of the three, can be used as a mild detergent or when mixed correctly, aggressive etching agent. Nonprescription, is one of the main ingredients found in oven cleaners, dishwashing liquid, cleaning fluids, degreasers, cleaning and bridge and a series of other products. Boroughs, even use it in the process of purification of drinking water.
In the restoration of the bridge and home to the newspapers, is used to remove mold, gray wood fibers and oil-based stains and hunters. With proper dilution may be applied over wood, preferably by spraying, but can be brushed. It is important to note that adequate safety measures have to be careful when using this method and instructions should be closely monitored. No Never mix the water in the sodium hydroxide. Instead, always mix the chemicals in the water slowly and carefully. Mixing water for the first chemical causes a reaction that produces an enormous amount of heat and smoke. Safety glasses, gloves and protective clothing are mandatory and others. Furthermore, this chemical will kill grass and plants, as well as windows, coatings and other surfaces. If you are unsure how to use this product are strongly advised to find a professional to do so. This is nothing to play.
If no sealer on the deck, or if there are only remnants, a mild solution of sodium hydroxide and an agent While surfactant can be applied and allowed to dwell for a period of time. This allows the mixture to smooth the surface contaminants and degraded wood. Test Scratching can be performed to determine how easy it is to clean the cabinet. If it is difficult to remove, the mixture must be applied and / or no longer live time limit. If is determined at the time that can be removed and a pressure washer be used to remove a very thin layer of degraded wood and no stains or other contaminants, such as mold, grease, grill, cooker points flowers, etc.
Be careful when using a pressure washer. If someone is not familiar with the use of a washing machine pressure irreversible damage to the wood can occur, resulting in costly replacement of decks or railings. In fact, less than 1000 PSI / pressure is needed. The water pressure is not as important as the volume of water. The more water, more cleaning and washing power. At least 4gpm is necessary to remove unwanted material correctly. This excludes most pressure washers type of owner usually less 3gpm rates (gallons per minute).
Percarbonate Sodium is the chemical found in the popular "Oxy Clean" products advertised on TV. Cleaner, chlorine free, it is a good clean as a cover option when a less aggressive cleaning or stripping needed. While it may remove some stains of waste can be left intact, is the most adequate to remove mold, dirt, grease and light wood gray gradient. Will not harm grass or most of the surfaces are properly washed. Mix a particular solution depending on the severity of employment, housing permits and removed with pressurized water and sodium hydroxide. With this product, it is recommended mix only what can be used in a couple of hours it loses its cleaning power.
It is less aggressive is a good cleaner that can be used when it is possible that delicate flowers and plants or animals in the area nearby. Safer for the owner to use the more aggressive strippers, cleaned the wood very well that a sealer can be reapplied with decent results.
Sodium hypochlorite is chlorine in the typical home laundering. Used as a disinfectant and antiseptic, excellent to remove and kill mold. However, to remove dirt and other contaminants. Many contractors and owners of some less informed of bleach to clean decks and other wood surfaces.
There are some things that should be considered when using this method for cleaning wood. Above all, bleach (Sodium hypochlorite) is a major chemicals used in paper mills to stop the wood fibers in the papermaking process. Chlorine breaks down lignin in wood that is the glue that holds wood fibers together. Once the lignin is removed, the fibers are reduced to a paste and then extruded through a series roller which ejects water and leaves a paper substance after drying.
The point is that much of a mixture of chlorine can destroy the fibers of the wood deck or log home. If chlorine is poured into a piece of wood and lets them experience a period of time it can take a pole and zero is an important layer of the forest. If you look is that has transformed the wood into pulp. This not only destroys the wood, but it is almost impossible to clean with bleach all the wood. If you put chlorine in fingers and try to wash, you will find it very slippery and very difficult to remove your fingertips. This indicates a high pH level. The same goes for wood. Therefore, complete being a residue of chlorine cleaner left and wood. It is not the ideal situation to apply a new finish. As these chemicals are difficult to clarify full of wood, even after large amounts of rinse water, the wood will always be a high pH level. To counter this, the wood must be neutralized to lower the pH level in order to stop any damage to forests and avoid interfering with the new finish. To this acid Oxalic acid is used. Applied spray the acid lowers the pH of the wood and at the same time clarifies the wood. This process is intentional or not, is often overlooked by the owner and the terrace of the painter uninformed or in the process of restoration of wooden houses, leaving residual amounts chemicals into the wood. Again, not ideal to apply a new finish.
In addition, chlorine itself is little clean dirt and other contaminants. Therefore, a detergent must be added. TSP (trisodium phosphate) is a cleaning agent good if mixed correctly. TSP is a derivative of borax and precautions should be taken when applying any surface. Never be left to dry on glass or some metals.
Chlorine has a place in the cleaning process. Properly mixed and applied in moderation, this is the best way not only the removal of mold, fungi and algae, but also to kill mold spores deep into the wood cells. When used properly, chlorine may do a great job without damaging the wood, but should be used properly and must be neutralized to obtain good results without damaging the wood.
Remember, the key to a long duration is suitable spot clean and dry timber. Anything that interferes with the operation of existing sealing places, dirt, mold, chemical residues, or moisture must be completely removed with a cleaning method, neutralized with an acid bath and allow to dry. The solids are defined as the moisture content of at least 15% or less. Further up the oil slick and not well absorbed into the wood. And more absorbed in the color of the wood, the better the performance of the finish. Remember, preparation and, above all, good preparation is the key to a good finish and durable.

Zabaglione & Mousse Tartlets: Italian Dessert Recipes : Phyllo Dough for Italian Dessert Tartlets
I can use yeast to act quickly and mass rises rapidly, so still need to rest as long as he says in a recipe that calls for regular yeast? If I let the dough rest for a long time to dry the dough? I think it tastes like alcohol mass … so bad. The room smelled of alcohol. Do you have a good recipe for pizza dough with yeast-acting or suggestions?
Made pizza dough for the first time yesterday, and was a success. Atually was a success so I have to transfer the pizza from the counter hot pizza stone. Anyone have a suggestion for this step? Thanks
My advice which always works for me, I have a sheet Large cookies used to press the dough, then just use to transfer the hot stone. Maybe remove the stone from the oven and transfer to make adjustments fine to paste all the stone, just be careful. But I really feel that practice is the method that suits you. Try a series of suggestions and stand out! Best wishes
